How far in advance should we book our celebrant?
Popular wedding dates go fast, so book as soon as you’ve locked in your date. I’m often booked 6-12 months in advance, but if your wedding’s sooner, still reach out, I might just have room for you. I’ll always try to make magic happen if I can.
What’s included when we book you?
Every package includes a celebrant who makes the process smooth, easy, and (dare I say) fun. I handle all the legal stuff, guide you every step of the way, and deliver a ceremony that celebrates your story, one your guests will actually enjoy.
Can we personalise our wedding ceremony?
Hell yes. Whether it’s personalised vows, readings, rituals, or inside jokes, I’ll help you shape a ceremony that feels like you two. My more inclusive packages are fully bespoke, but every ceremony is crafted with care.
What paperwork do we need to get married?
You’ll need a Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) lodged at least one month before the big day. I’ll guide you through all the legal bits, including what ID you need, so there’s zero guesswork and no last-minute stress.
Do you help us write our vows?
Absolutely. I’ll give you tips and a bit of gentle guidance (or a pep talk if needed). Whether you want to go heartfelt, humorous, or somewhere in between, I’ll help you find the words.
How do we lock you in?
Easy. After a free chat (Zoom, phone or in person), I’ll send you an invoice and contract. Once your booking fee is paid, you’re officially locked in and we can start creating some ceremony magic.
Working With Me
Do we need to meet in person before booking?
Nope! We can meet however suits you - Zoom, phone call, quick coffee - whatever works for you both and your schedule. No pressure, no cost, just a chance to see if we’re a great fit.
How do I book you?
Once we’ve had a quick chat and you’re keen, I’ll send over an invoice and contract. Your date is locked in once your booking fee is paid.
Will you tell us what we need to do and when?
Absolutely. My process is designed to guide you step-by-step! I’ll prompt you for everything I need, exactly when I need it. No guesswork, no overwhelm. By the time your big day rolls around, all the legal bits and ceremony details will be sorted, and you’ll be able to relax and actually enjoy getting married.
How are your payments structured?
For full ceremonies, payments are made in three instalments:
Booking Fee: Due immediately to secure your date.
Planning Fee: Due 3 months before your ceremony.
Ceremony Fee: Due 1 month before your ceremony.
Please Note: For Legals-Only packages there is no Planning Fee.

First Meeting
We’ll meet over coffee, drinks, or Zoom! Whatever suits your style. You’ll tell me all about your love story, your vision, and what you don’t want. I’ll walk you through how it all works and answer every question (even the ones you didn’t know you had).
Planning Your Ceremony
Together, we’ll design a ceremony that reflects you two. We’ll choose readings, structure, tone, and any special moments that matter. I’ll write a ceremony that’s heartfelt, light-hearted, and totally personal.
Wedding Day
I’ll arrive early, keep things calm, cue everyone, and guide your ceremony with warmth and confidence. You get to be fully present, not worrying about timing, tech, or who’s doing what. It will flow. It will feel right. It will be yours.
Legal & Paperwork
What are the legal requirements to get married in Australia?
To legally marry, you need to lodge a NOIM at least one month before your ceremony, provide valid ID, and (if relevant) proof of divorce or death of a previous spouse. I’ll help with all the paperwork and make sure everything’s legally airtight.
Can we lodge the NOIM online?
Absolutely! You’re welcome to lodge your NOIM with me in person, or you can send it to me digitally if it’s already filled in and signed by you both and a qualified witness. Easy.
Can we get married in less than a month?
Only in exceptional circumstances (like medical emergencies), and even then, it’s not guaranteed. Let’s chat ASAP if you think this applies to you.
Who can be our witnesses?
Anyone over 18; friends, family, even two strangers you met at the café this morning. As long as they’re sober and willing, they’re golden.

Can we write our own vows?
100%. I’ll help you shape them into something heartfelt, honest, and “OMG I’m crying already.”
Can we include cultural or family traditions?
Please do! Whether it’s a tea ceremony, handfasting, or a cheeky inside joke, I’ll help you honour what matters most.
Do you offer rehearsals?
Yep! They’re included in some packages or can be added to others. They’re perfect for calming nerves and making sure everyone knows what’s happening.
We want a friend to do most of the talking - is that allowed?
Definitely. With my “Ceremony BFF” package, I’ll handle the legal side while your friend takes the spotlight. It’s the best of both worlds.
Can you do themed weddings (costumes and all)?
Absolutely. If you’re planning a themed wedding (costumes, characters, or just a vibe that’s totally you) I’m in. I’ll match the mood while keeping the ceremony heartfelt and legally sound. Whether it’s vintage, fantasy, pop culture, or something delightfully weird, I’m all for it. Your wedding should feel like a celebration of who you are together.
Ceremony Day
Do you bring a microphone or PA system?
Yes! My Personalised and Bespoke Ceremony Packages include a high-quality PA so every guest can hear every word. No awkward shouting or missed moments.
How early do you arrive?
I’m always there early to check out the space, set up what I need for the ceremony, and check in with your team. No rushing, no stress, just calm, cool, and ready to roll. We’ll discuss my arrival time for your ceremony, so you know exactly when to expect me.
What if you get sick or there’s an emergency?
I’ve never missed a wedding! But, just in case, I’ve got trusted celebrant friends I can call in who’ll be fully briefed and ready to step in.

Where do you perform ceremonies?
Anywhere in Australia! I’m based in Melbourne, but happy to travel for love. Whether it’s a luxe ballroom, a breezy beach, or a mountain top elopement, I’m in. If there are travel costs, I’ll let you know upfront. I’m not into surprise costs.

Do you offer other types of ceremonies besides weddings?
Absolutely. As a Commonwealth-Registered Celebrant, I perform all kinds of life ceremonies; commitment ceremonies, vow renewals, baby naming days, and more. If you’ve got a milestone worth marking with a meaningful moment, I’d be honoured to help craft something personal and memorable.
